The Hampton Roads Whalers Junior C Green team completed another successful weekend by going 3-0 during the Hampton Roads SEJHL Showcase October 24th through 26th. After coming off a big 11-0 win over the Charleston Wolverines in Charleston the previous weekend, the “Green Machine” rolled over the Tampa Bay Bolts in the Friday night opening game of the showcase 5-0. The team's winning ways continued Saturday with a 3-2 win over the Space Coast Hurricanes. On Sunday the Whaler Green team completed the weekend sweep with a victory over the East Coast Eagles Minor team 5-3.  In the past 250 minutes of hockey Whaler Green has outscored their opponents 29-6 and have also registered two shutouts. This has also propelled the team to a number 9 national ranking on juniorhockeyrankings.com.  The Green team hits the road this weekend for two big games in Raleigh against the East Coast Eagles Majors on Saturday and East Coast Eagles Minors on Sunday.
